Men Miss More Doctors Appointments Then Women Do
This doesn't quite come as a huge shock, but men are a bunch of slackers -- especially when it comes to keeping doctor's appointments.
According to a recent survey of hospitals, men did not attend nine percent of their appointments. Women missed about seven percent of their appointments.
The highest number of men who did not attend appointments was between the ages of 20 and 29.
Researchers believe some reasons may be that men have a hard time getting off work, or that they simply can't tolerate waiting a long time to be called into the doctor's office.
