Drivers license offices in North Dakota will be temporarily closed from Tuesday, September 26th through Thursday, September 28th.

North Dakota Department of Transportation employees will receive annual training during that time period.

The one office that will be open at all from Tuesday to Thursday is the one located in Bismarck at 608 East Boulevard Avenue. That office will be open on Tuesday from 7:30 a.m. to 11:45 a.m. Normal business hours for all drivers license offices will resume on Friday, September 29th.

Despite the specific closures of drivers license offices, other motor vehicle office services will be available, such as vehicle registrations, vehicle license plates and tabs, and vehicle titles.

Online renewals are available for residents of North Dakota between the ages of 21 and 65 if you've previously renewed your license in person since turning 21 and if all your current information remains the same.
