The North Dakota State Bison are headed back to Frisco, TX and the FCS Championship Game after defeating Richmond 33-7 tonight (12/18) at the FargoDome.

Running back King Frazier put NDSU on the board first with a 2-yard touchdown run in the first quarter to give the Bison a 6-0 lead. They never looked back.

Quarterback Easton Stick threw two touchdown passes in the first half, one to Chase Morlock, the other to Zach Vraa, and Eric Perkins returned a punt 88 yards to give the Bison a 26-0 lead headed into halftime.

Richmond quarterback Kyle Lauletta opened up the scoring in the second half with a 55-yard touchdown pass early in the third quarter to make the score 26-7.

King Frazier extended the Bison lead to 33-7 in the fourth quarter with a 3-yard TD run. That would, ultimately, be the final scoring play of the game.

Frazier led the Bison with 121 yards on the ground and two touchdowns. Stick added 136 yards through the air and two touchdowns.

The Bison will face the winner of Saturday's game (12/19) between Jacksonville State and Sam Houston State in the FCS Championship Game on January 9th in Frisco, TX.
