According to a new survey from AAA, 95 percent of Americans agree that texting and driving is dangerous -- but 35 percent of drivers still do it.

Some Survey Results ...

Of those who admitted to texting while driving, more than half of them do it while stopped at red lights.

16 percent admitted to reading messages on freeways in heavy traffic.

9 percent admitted to actually writing messages in this situation.

34 states and the District of Columbia now have anti-texting laws, and the survey found 87 percent of drivers support those laws, even though they're not obeying them.
