Since November 2015, the average gas price in the state of North Dakota has reached $2.35 per gallon.

Higher crude oil prices, along with maintenance on oil refineries have contributed to the increase. The usage of summer-blends for fuel factor in with their higher costs as well. According to AAA, the national average for regular unleaded is $2.40 per gallon.

GasBuddy lists the lowest price in North Dakota at $2.19. Currently, the lowest price in the Bismarck-Mandan area is at $2.28 (Sam's Club at 2821 Rock Island Place near Bismarck Expy).

With Memorial Day and the summer months on the way, gas prices are expected to continue to climb.
