Another month, another milestone, as oil production in the state of North Dakota hit 973,045 barrels a day in November of 2013, up 3% from the previous month.

According a statement from the Department of Mineral Resources, the number of barrels produced a day in November was an all-time high.

There are now over 10,000 oil-producing wells in North Dakota, with the majority of those being found in the Bakken and Three Forks formations, according to The Grand Forks Herald.

North Dakota is expected to hit the one million barrel a day mark sometime in 2014.
