Former Major Leaguer Travis Hafner and Olympic silver medalists Monique and Jocelyne Lamoureux are among the 2016 inductees into the North Dakota Sports Hall of Fame.

Former Dickinson State University football coach Hank Bieslot will also be inducted at the North Dakota Sports Hall of Fame banquet being held on June 11th in Jamestown, according to Valley News Live.

Hafner, who was born in Jamestown, played twelve seasons in the Major Leagues, the majority of which was spent with the Cleveland Indians. He finished his career with a .273 average, 213 home runs, and 731 RBIs.

The Lamoureux sisters, Monique and Jocelyne, originally from Grand Forks, were the first twins to ever play women's ice hockey in the Olympics. The sisters collected a silver medal, along with the rest of Team USA, at the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver.

Bieslot was the head football coach at Dickinson State from 1976 to 2013 and the head baseball coach from 1976 to 2001. During his career at DSU, Bieslot amassed a record of 258-121-1. He owns the record for most wins in the NAIA at one school, according to Wikipedia.
