North Dakota Town Evacuated Due to Train Derailment

Wednesday Morning, a town in North Dakota was evacuated due to a BNSF train derailment and fire about 7:30.

It has been confirmed from the Wells County Sheriff's Department, a train has derailed near the town of Heimdal and black smoke can be seen for miles according to witnesses on the scene.

The train derailed this morning and six tanker cars are on fire. Here is a picture from the scene this morning.

The town of Heimdal is a small town between Harvey and New Rockford.
