North Dakotans Create ‘Blood & Oil’ Drinking Game
If you're looking for a reason to tune in to the new North Dakota-based ABC drama series 'Blood & Oil,' I may have found you one.
According to The Columbus Dispatch, a few North Dakotans that caught the series premiere Sunday night, September 27th, decided to have a little fun at the show's expense.
While 'Blood & Oil' is supposed to be set in North Dakota, some residents of the state have noticed one very glaring miscue: the mountains depicted in the show don't actually exist in North Dakota. In all actuality, the show is shot in Utah.
So, instead of just leaving it alone, North Dakotans decided to turn the sight of the faux mountains into a drinking game! See a peak during 'Blood & Oil'? Bottoms up!
Simple, yet fun, and, depending how often 'Blood & Oil' decides to show these fake mountains, the game could actually give you a pretty good buzz.
For what it's worth, Variety is reporting that 6.3 million people tuned in for the series premiere of 'Blood & Oil,' which isn't exactly good, but isn't exactly bad either.
'Blood & Oil' airs Sunday nights at 8 p.m. CST on ABC.
