With all the hoopla surrounding the construction of the Dakota Access Pipeline, both Presidential candidates as well as Obama have been fairly silent on the issue.

The first time Obama spoke about it, he didn't have much to say. Hillary Clinton has said nothing about the pipeline. Donald Trump's energy advisor and North Dakota congressman Kevin Cramer recently stated that he isn't sure Trump is aware of the Dakota Access Pipeline controversy.

In recent days, the Dakota Access Pipeline has received even more national attention following the deployment of law enforcement from several other states as well as the 'mass Facebook check-in movement.'

'NowThis News', an internet news organization recently had an exclusive sit-down with President Obama and asked him about the Dakota Access Pipeline. You can hear his full response above in the less than 2 minute video.
