••Bismarck State College presents some Halloween fun with Stage Fright---Haunted Theater on FRI & SAT.   It’s on from 6-11pm and for younger children, there will be activities set up in the lobby outside the theater.  $5 admission.  It’s all on at Bismarck State College’s Sidney J. Lee Auditorium on campus.

 

••Fall Family Pumpkin Party is on FRIDAY night from 630-8pm at Zion Lutheran Church, 413 East Avenue D in Bismarck.  Fun for the entire family and it’s all FREE!!

 

••JFK Film Festival is on FRIDAY 7pm, At the North Dakota Heritage Center at the Capitol.  This week’s JFK-Related film is Oliver Stone’s “J F K,” and it’s FREE!!!

 

••The Haunted Fort at Fort Abraham Lincoln State Park Opens up FRIDAY & SATURDAY night at 730pm and stays open until 11pm!!  Special Sunday afternoon “Haunted Fort Kids Bash” from 1230-4pm  $5 per child, parents are free!!  7 miles south of Mandan on Highway 1806.  Bigger and scarier than ever!  Tickets $12, VIP passes $32.

 

••Catch The Funny comedy “The Mouse That Roared” .  It’s based on the 1955 Peter Sellers Movie about the Grand Duchy of Fenwick and their declaration of war on the U.S.—to simply get foreign aid.   St Mary’s High School will present this funny play at the Dakota Stage, 412 East Main in Bismarck.  Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for students.  Performances are FRI, SAT & SUN at 745pm. 

 

 

 

••Mandan High presents their fall play “Steel Magnolias.”  It’s based on the 1989 movie with Julia Roberts, Sally Field and Dolly Parton.   See it on stage at the Mandan High School Auditorium FRI & SAT night at 8pm and a Sunday Matinee at 230pm.  $8.   905-8th Avenue Northwest.

 

••3rd Annual Monster Dash is on SAT from 8-11am at Sertoma Park.  Grab your best witch, goblin, or ghoul costume and come run.  All proceeds benefit the local Cops & Kids program.    Registration at 730 and the 10 run begins at 830, the 5K begins at 9am.

 

••3rd Annual Artober Halloween Fest is on at Theo Art School.  This events is perfect for the little ones.  Not too scary, costumes are welcome at they can trick or treat SAT morning from 1030-1230.  $5.  Face painting and more fun activities for the kids.  1810 Schafer Street in Bismarck. 

 

••”Zoo Boo” 2nd Annual Celebration is on at The Dakota Zoo---it’s on Saturday from 1-4pm.  It’s an afternoon of spook-tacular trick or treating.  A great chance for the kids to have fun, trick or treat and see the animals.  $3 for kids and $1 for adults. 

 

••University Of Mary High School Honor Band Celebration  is on SAT at 3pm.  It’s a special Fall Band Concert at the Belle.  It’s FREE and open to the public.  This special celebration honors band students from all over the state.

 

••Fall Vendor Fair is on SATURDAY from 10am-3pm at the AMVETS in Bismarck.  Get some of that holiday shopping all done.  Admission is a non-perishable food item. 

 

••Barry’s Kids Annual Fundraiser is on SAT from 1-4 at Midway Lanes.   Bowl with your co-workers, family, friends or by yourself.  Prizes, fun and more fun.  $25 per person.  Midway Lanes on the Memorial Highway in Mandan. 

 

••All You Can Eat Spaghetti Feed is on SUN from 11am-1pm at the Bismarck Masonic Center, 1009 Basin Avenue.  It’s free and open to everyone.   Donations will be accepted and proceeds benefit the Shriners Hospitals for Children. 

 

••A Night Of Chicago Blues is on SUN 4-6pm at the Bismarck Ramada  Hotel.  Features 2013 Chicago Blues Hall of Fame inductee Joe Moss and his band.  $15.  1400 East Interchange Avenue in Bismarck.
