Our BIG Breakfasts!! Mean BAD News!!
I've always been told that breakfast is the most important meal of the day. And, apparently, it's also the reason for most of our heart attacks. YIKES!!!
When we eat breakfast – we mean REALLY eat breakfast – it can run north of 1,500 calories.
And why shouldn't it? The $15 BILLION breakfast industry sees to it that our entire first meal can be wrapped in a giant tortilla or smashed in between a biscuit and eaten in the car.
But if we're really taking our time, our giant breakfasts are consumed in an average of 13 minutes.
Kinda makes you re-think the first meal of the day. (Gawker)
My favorite breakfast is French Toast, 2 Scrambled Eggs, Bacon and a nice cup of Hot Tea!!
