Someone once called the lottery a "tax on the stupid."

While we won't pass judgement on you for playing, we need to point a few things out...

The odds of you actually winning the big bucks: 1 in 170 million.  You actually have a far better chance of being struck by lightning (more here via the Wall Street Journal)...

For the folks who actually win, things don't necessarily turn out very well (like this poor fellow)...
