Presidential hopeful Ted Cruz will be the keynote speaker at the North Dakota GOP convention, which is being held this weekend at Fargo's Scheels Arena.

Senator Cruz is scheduled to speak at 1 p.m. on Saturday, April 2nd, while former candidate Ben Carson will speak on Sunday, April 3rd, according to InForum.

Carson, you'll recall, announced that he was endorsing Donald Trump, the GOP frontrunner, after calling off his presidential campaign approximately one month ago.

North Dakota will send 28 total delegates to the national GOP convention, three of which are automatic delegates. The other 25 will be endorsed during this weekend's convention.

Cruz's father, Rafael, is also currently making the North Dakota rounds. He spoke in Minot Monday, March 28th, and will speak Tuesday, March 29th, in Valley City, Jamestown, and Bismarck, according to InForum.
