Red Cross Warns of Local Donation Scam

Be aware - there's a scammer in town supposedly soliciting money for the Oklahoma tornado relief effort.

The American Red Cross reports that a person in the guise of a Red Cross worker has contacted homes in the area requesting credit card donations for the relief efforts in Moore, Oklahoma.

For the record, although the local Red Cross is accepting donations for the Oklahoma disaster, it said it is not initiating calls to request financial assistance.
