Running Very Colorful In Bismarck!!!

Are you bored with your same old boring running or walking route?  Are you looking for something new and fun to do with your friends?  You can add some color to your life right here in Bismarck by signing up for the Color Splash Fun Dash.  This is a fun untimed 5k (3.1 mile) run/walk will take place at Cottonwood Park (2506 S. 12^th, Bismarck) on Sunday, June 1^st at 1:00pm. 

First, before the race, get your energy up with a fun pre-race party starting at 11:30am.  The party will have food, balloon animals, inflatables, facepainting, music, and tons of smiles and laughs.   

The dash will start after the party. (Don’t worry if you are not a fast runner, walkers and people of all fitness levels are welcome!)   Runners and walkers should wear white (a white t-shirt is included with registration) as they run or walk through a course with several "color splash zones." Each zone is a different color that you will get splashed with, and as each runner/walker finishes the race, they will have a very colorful t-shirt to wear as a reminder of this fun event!

Not only will you have fun, but you will help raise money for the Missouri Valley Family YMCA’s annual campaign, which helps families and children right here in Bismarck-Mandan.  One of the sponsors, our own Puklich Chevrolet, has a Chevy Silverado Driving Billboard cruising around Bismarck/Mandan.  Be on the lookout for it!  Here is a picture of it below!

I’ve never done a color run, but my girlfriend, Sherry, has, and it looks like a lot of fun!  Her picture is above (she did the Color Me Rad 5k in Spokane, Washington).
