School Bus Crash Thursday Morning (8/10)

No Injuries were reported when a pick up truck collided with a school bus Thursday morning.

Even though no injuries were reported, there was substantial damage to both vehicles. The bus had 10 children riding when the accident occurred in LaMoure County.

Reports indicate the bus driver was slowing down while traveling east through a country intersection when the pick up approached the intersection and struck the bus. Another bus was called to the scene to pick up the children.

Damage is estimated at over $30,000 to both vehicles. The bus driver was charged failure to yield. The State Police continue to investigate the accident.
