As Black Friday deals are upon us, Dakota Access Pipeline protesters took their cause to Kirkwood Mall Friday. At least 33 were arrested, possibly more.

The protesters assembled near the main interior entrance to Target on the north side of the mall. The initial call to Bismarck Police said that there were at least 100 protesters gathering at the mall, which is considered private property.

Mall management says protest activities, as well as open prayer on the property are prohibited. Police warned the assembling protesters to leave, or be arrested.

Police are still stationed on the grounds of the mall for today, as they monitor the situation.
