Shiloh Robotics Team Heading to World Tournament
The tournament takes place April 23-26 and will host 128 teams from all over the world. There were nearly 5,000 teams who had hopes of competing in the FTC World Tournament and Shiloh was able to snag one of the 128 spots.
The team, coached by Bruce Vadnais, is made up of three students; Nick Reynolds, Elliott Stone and Hunter Aus.
The Shiloh Robotics Team has put in hundreds of hours and their hard work has payed off with accomplishments such as:
- Champions in the North Dakota State Robotics Championship
- Won the Wyoming State Robotics Championship qualifying them for the Western Super Regionals
- Competed against 71 teams in the Super Regionals Tournament in Sacramento, CA where they received an invitation to the World Tournament
The team's light robot is designed to be fast and powerful. Up until the tournament they plan on making subtle adjustments to increase power and agility while improving its collision protection.
