Shooting Kills Two Men in Apartment Complex

The details are sketchy on the death of two men at an apartment complex shooting in Williston.

The two dead men are from out of state as the shooting took place on the fifth floor of an apartment complex in Williston. The two men have not be identified as of press time, until the next of family can be notified. The men were in their 20's.

The shooting took place at Renaissance Heights apartments. 911 calls started to come in Tuesday (5/17) morning about 11:30. When police arrived, the two men were found on the living room floor of the apartment. Residents of the fifth floor say they heard between 9-16 gun shots.

When police arrived, guns were in plain sight and other people were in the apartment at the time of the shooting, including a child, although no one else was injured and not taken into custody.

The authorities do not believe the public is in any danger. The Williston police and agents with the Bureau of Criminal Investigation continue this investigation.
