When I ran across this info on line I realized even though I have a smartphone, I'm not part of the group that checks their Facebook page alot on their smartphone.  I prefer to check Facebook on my desktop I-MAC.   The screen is nice and big and I can see and do all my Facebook stuff the way I want to do it.  But that's not the case with alot of smartphone folks.  Check this stuff out:

According to a recent Facebook-sponsored survey, smartphone owners check their Facebook pages from their phone an average of 14 times a day.

This adds up to an average of 32 minutes spent on Facebook’s mobile app every day.

Some other survey results include:

79 percent said that they checked their phones within the first 15 minutes of waking up.

25 percent couldn’t remember the last time they didn’t have their phone next to them.

79 percent admitted that the maximum amount of time they spend away from their phones is up to 2 hours a day.

I actually forgot my phone last night on the way to Midway Lanes to bowl, and to be honest it was kind of nice NOT to have my phone with me.  I  made it for almost 4 hours without my smartphone!!
