Smoking on the Playground? Mandan Board Delays Decision

Should smoking on public playgrounds be banned?  The Mandan Park Board will decide on the issue May 13.

Advocates invoke "the children,", and the dangers of secondhand smoke.  The board has delayed the decision until May to give opponents a chance to have their say.
