So often we hear about the bad things that the younger generation is doing, well I found something really good that young people are NOT doing, and we could take a cue or two from them.   According to a new study, young adults are staying away from credit card debt.

This might be because they’re more responsible with their money and have seen credit cards crush their parents or perhaps have a little something to do with the fact that they just don’t have a lot of credit readily available to them.   I know my kids have very limited credit, because it's just not available like it once was, let's say 20 years ago.

In 2008, banks pretty much shut the door on easy credit, which really affected 18- to 29-year-olds.   So while young adults are struggling to find jobs and living at home with their parents, at least they’re not drowning in consumer debt--which I say IS a VERY GOOD THING!   What say you???
