Getting through the Black Hills or going to Sturgis is going to be a bit quicker starting Wednesday (4/2) as the speed limit will increase.

Before you get all crazy and happy foot, the increase will only apply on interstate highways, which is only 2. I29 and I90.

The speed limit will stay where it’s been in cities, which vary, and other highways will remain at 75 mph.

According to one person in S.D. that owns a business along the interstate, says there has not been a lot of talk about the increase. It's been business as usual.
