A new home for the St. Mary's Saints was announced on Tuesday, November 24 at a news conference.

Light of Christ Catholic Schools proudly announced plans to build a new school for St. Mary's Central High School in North Bismarck.

48 acres of land, valued at $6 million, was donated by Bismarck's Ron and Ruth Knutson. Bishop David Kagan said that this is the largest donation ever made to the Bismarck Diocese. The land is located on the corner of North Washington St. and 57th Ave.

School officials have not finalized the dollar amount needed to begin construction but it looks as though the beautiful new school could have a football field, track, and baseball diamond.

We will update this story as more information becomes available.
