It's finally here. The seat for the "little guys" in FBS college football has officially arrived. After 10 seasons of a four-team College Football playoff, plans are officially set for expansion to the 12-team playoff in 2025 and beyond.

Despite some stellar goaltending by Aaron Nelson, a sudden-death overtime goal by Ryan Cole put the Amarillo Bulls over the top to beat the Bobcats 2-1 Saturday.

The momentum bounced back and forth a bit, but it was Stanislav Dzakhov who came through with the winning goal in the last minute and five seconds to give the Bobcats the win 3-2 over the Wenatchee Wild in the Cats' first 2013 Robertson Cup Tournament game.

Power-play goals by Levi Blom and Shane Omdahl along with some strong late-game forechecking helped propel the Bobcats to a 3-2 win over the Austin Bruins, putting the Cats one game away from taking the best-of-five series.  Matt Pohlkamp also scored for the Cats.

A spectacular short-handed goal by Daniel Kovar helped push the Bobcats past the Austin Bruins 5-2 Saturday, to even the Central Division finals at 1-1.

The Bobcats have moved on the the next round of NAHL playoff action with a 6-0 win over the Brookings Blizzard.
