Tipping

In a report released by Lavu, North Dakota is considered the worst state when it comes to the average percentage we leave for a tip.

How much do you tip? Fifteen percent? Twenty? How about...zero percent?!?

If you work in the food service industry, your wallet may thank you for moving to this city.

How are we doing when it comes to tipping in North Dakota---we're pretty much in the middle of the pack.  IF I get good service at a restaurant and the meal is good, then I will leave a nice tip---maybe 20%-25%.  BUT---if the service is horrible and they screw up the meal---generally I will leave a very small tip of a dime or quarter, so the server will know that I didn't forget to tip, but I was

When I get good service from a waiter or waitress--I will leave a nice tip, IF I get bad service, I may leave a very very small tip---a quarter, or 50 cents---so they know I didn't forget to leave a tip AND that I was NOT happy.   How about you when it comes to leaving a tip.  Found a new survey and looks like us Americans are known for being some of the best tippers on this planet.
