The 4th Annual Strides Walk for Diabetes Awareness is May 18th!

The Mandan Dacotah Lions are holding their 4th Annual Strides Walk for Diabetes Awareness on May 18th at Mandan's Farris Field, located near Mandan Municipal Golf Course.

On-site registration begins at 10am with the walk beginning at 11am. The cost is $15 per person or $30 per family. They'll have food and door prizes at the end of the walk.

All of the money raised will be used to send local kids to Camp Sioux, which is a camp for kids with diabetes. The money will also be used to purchase low vision machines, which enable people with vision problems the chance to regain the ability to read.
