The Best and Worst States for a Road Trip, and North Dakota is Where on the List?
This is subjective to opinion I would presume, here we go with the best and worst states for a road trip. The reason I say subject to opinion, if you're on a motorcycle, some of the worst states have really great roads for a motorcycle. But here we go according to MSN and WalletHub.
The best states are-
- Oregon
- Nevada
- Minnesota
- Washington
- Ohio (really?? Ohio??)
The top 5 worst states are
- South Dakota ( the Badlands and Mt. Rushmore and then Sturgis, really?)
- Mississippi
- Delaware
- North Dakota
Like its neighbor to the south, North Dakota scored poorly across the board: gas prices are more expensive than in many other states, its road safety conditions aren’t great, and it’s lacking in scenery. But don’t write it off entirely: It also has plenty of outdoor attractions (including three national parks) and the beautiful International Peace Garden.
5. Connecticut
Do you really agree with this list? Have you ever traveled across Kansas or Nebraska. Bring a book, talk about BORING!
Here was the criteria-
WalletHub studied lodging, gas prices, weather, and scenic attractions in all 50 states to find the best places for an all-American road trip. We've compiled the 10 best and worst—and asked Condé Nast Traveler editors to weigh in on those rankings.
I'd have to disagree with a majority of this list. What do you think?
