Everyone has their own preference when it comes to their favorite brew, but one publication has named North Dakota's 'Best Beer,' and it has a clever name.

It's no secret that Fargo Brewing Company is pretty popular when it comes to North Dakota beer. Fun side-note fact, it's exciting their 'Iron Horse' beer is now available in cans, but that's neither here, nor there. The popular food/beverage publication, The Daily Meal, has picked the 'Best Beer in Every State.' In North Dakota, it's a recent addition that came out in May 2017, '1.21 Gigahops.'

This beer is not just a great-pun on the line from "Back to the Future" about 1.21 Gigawatts, which only makes it taste that much better, but it's also deliciously hoppy, with a citrus and tropical fruit flavored taste. According to The Daily Meal, when it comes to North Dakota beers,

Fargo Brewing Company makes plenty of wonderful beers, but 1.21 Gigahops is perhaps their finest brew. With a dark, hazy orange color, it may look like this beer has an overwhelming amount of hops, but its balance of bitterness and sweet malts is beyond pleasing.

The beer has an ABV of 9.5%, so be sure to enjoy, rather than chug.

There you have it, North Dakota, the best beer in the state. Please drink responsibly.
