The Debate Rages On: Do You Say ‘Dinner’ or ‘Supper’? [POLL]
Every now and then, a simple question becomes a heated debate. The latest example: do you say 'dinner' or 'supper'?
Many see the two terms as interchangeable. Case in point, the definitions are nearly identical.
Some argue it depends where you are regionally. Others say it's a generational thing. Everyone we've spoken to in our incredibly scientific poll almost unequivocally refers to the meal as 'dinner'.
Our staff is made up of people from all over the country. This is how it plays out at our office:
