This was a bit of a surprise to me----Want to get fit? Move a few hours east to Minneapolis-St. Paul, which has been rated the healthiest, fittest city in the U.S.   Hmmmm-maybe it's all that walking around at the Mall of America?   You never know!

How those rankings were determined---smoking, exercise, obesity rates, chronic health problems and access to health care. Access to parks, recreated facilities, walking trails and farmers’ markets was also taken into account.  How do other cities match up??

Washington, D.C., follows at number two, Portland, Oregon, is number three, and San Francisco and Denver round out the top five.

So, which city is the least fit? Oklahoma City, which is dealing with way bigger issues in the wake of the devastating tornado that hit the area last week. Detroit came in second to last. (Outside)
