School is back in session and has been for a while. We teach kids that beauty is on the inside and not the outside. But when it comes to buildings, beauty applies to both.

The website Architectural Digest, decided to declare the most beautiful public high schools in each state.

In North Dakota, Architectural Digest gave the honor to Grand Forks High School which is the oldest still operating High School in the state according to Wikipedia.

JLG Architects is the company behind most of the school building's renovations over the past two decades but the original building was built in 1882 with a major renovation in 1937. The 1937 renovation is still what is behind the school's current majestic outside look.

In short, Grand Forks High School is a beautiful building… apparently the most beautiful in the state.
