The NOT So Impulsive Aisle Anymore At The Grocery Store

I've loved going grocery shopping since I was a little kid---still like doing it now.  Sounds a little crazy, eh?   And like me----who can resist the trinkets and snacks lined up by the cash register, just waiting to be picked up and flipped through and played with and eaten?

We can, that’s who.

In fact, sales of things like magazines and candy are way down due to people staring down at their phones instead of looking at Kit Kats and Cosmo.

The talking heads call this phenomenon wearing “mobile blinders,” and it’s tanking their businesses.

So unless you want to see the magazines and gum disappear from your grocery store checkout aisle, stop posting on Twitter and buy something at the register! (Jezebel)
