Five North Dakota State Bison players were named to College Sporting News' 'Fab 50' FCS All-American Team, it was announced on Monday, January 19th.

According to GoBison.com, three Bison players named to the team also grabbed top honors: Defensive end Kyle Emanuel was named FCS Defensive Player of the Year, quarterback Carson Wentz was named FCS Playoff MVP, and left tackle Joel Haeg was named Offensive Tackle of the Year.

To go with those awards, fullback Andrew Bonnet and linebacker Travis Beck were also named to the 'Fab 50' team. Running back John Crockett and strong safety Colton Heagle received honorable mention.

NDSU won their fourth straight FCS Championship this season, with an exciting 29-27 win over Illinois State in Frisco, TX.
