Tornado Watch in Effect for Western North Dakota, Severe Weather to Follow For Bismarck

The National Weather Service has issued a Tornado watch for 6 counties in Western North Dakota.

Adams, Billings, Bowman, Golden Valley, McKenzie, and Slope Counties are all under the current Tornado watch through 9pm CDT tonight.

Severe weather, including thunderstorms and large hail, is expected to make it's way up through Morton and Burleigh Counties over the next 24 hours. While it looks like the worst of it is going to be through in the next day or so, it is expected that there will be thunderstorms in the area for much of the week.
