[UPDATE, 10/16/14, 12:15pm] The inmates were apprehended in Dickinson Wednesday morning in a black pickup. Authorities believe the women stole the truck.

Two female inmates escaped the Dakota Women's Correctional and Rehabilitation Center in New England, ND, Wednesday night (10/15). New England is approximately 122 miles southwest of Bismarck.

Justice Lange and Jessica Briggs, both minimum security inmates, escaped the facility around 10:45pm, authorities say. Lange is 5'3" tall, 230 pounds, with short black hair. Briggs is 5'4" tall, 143 pounds, and has blonde hair with pink highlights.

Authorities say they may be traveling in a 1992 Black GMC pickup with the license plate #JPV316.

The back window has a blue colored "FOX" racing sticker, back left bumper has two small stickers: yellow "JEGS" sticker and a circle K sticker, and the front left fender is reportedly dented.

Both inmates have past criminal histories. Lange has previous charges of felony conspiracy to commit robbery and burglary, and a misdemeanor in possession. Briggs has a history of misdemeanor criminal mischief, simple assault, and felony possession.
