Two Former Bobcats Headed to Frozen Four
The North Dakota Fighting Sioux may have been knocked out of the NCAA hockey tournament but that doesn't mean that North Dakotans no longer have a reason to watch. Two former Bismarck Bobcats are headed to the Frozen Four after their teams won this weekend!
Ryan Faragher, who was a part of the 2010 Robertson Cup team, held Miami (Ohio) to just one goal in a 4-1 win for the St. Cloud State Huskies. This will be the Huskies first ever Frozen Four. They'll take on Quinnipiac on April 11th, who also boasts a former Bobcat on their roster.
Freshman defenseman Alex Barron played 16 games for the Bismarck Bobcats during the 2009-2010 season. He scored one goal in 29 games this season for Quinnipiac.
