Monday, November 17th, from 7pm to 9pm, the University of North Dakota will be hosting a virtual town hall meeting in hopes of finding a new nickname and logo.

According to The Bismarck Tribune, a task force is working on a new nickname and logo for UND and, Monday night, the public will have the opportunity to have their voices heard.

In Bismarck, those that want to participate in the virtual town hall meeting can go to Room 304 in the National Energy Center of Excellence, on the campus of Bismarck State College.

In June 2012, Measure 4 was passed, which allowed UND to discontinue the use of the 'Fighting Sioux' nickname.
