University of Mary's Devan Douglas went to the State Farm College Slam Dunk and 3-Point Championships as an underdog, but he'll return to Bismarck as a champion.

Douglas won the Slam Dunk Championship portion of the event, defeating UNLV's Ike Nwamu with a 360-alley oop to himself:

Douglas was the only dunker to make both of his dunks in the semifinal round, which helped propel him to the victory.

The University of Mary congratulated Douglas after the win, via Facebook:

Douglas was the first Marauder to ever be a part of the State Farm College Slam Dunk and 3-Point Championships, according to GoUMary.com.

The 28th annual State Farm College Slam Dunk and 3-Point Championships were televised on ESPN and took place at the Berry Center in Cypress, TX.
