University of North Dakota Shows Off New Football Helmets
Back in July, the University of North Dakota unveiled their new grey alternate uniforms. Now, they're unveiling their brand new helmets for the upcoming season.
The new green helmets, which you can see in the video above, feature the Fighting Hawks logo on one side and the corresponding player's number on the other.
When UND unveiled their new alternate grey uniforms, head coach Bubba Schweigert discussed how important different uniform options had become for the recruiting process, according to CampusSports.net. One has to assume that the new green helmets will help, too.
Schweigert also discussed the possibility of UND introducing grey helmets in the future, though that may still be a few years away.
You can see UND's new helmets in action for the first time on September 1st when they travel east to battle Stony Brook.
