Wanna Buy Captain Kirk’s Phaser From Star Trek–It WILL Cost You…

I will admit it---I'm a "Trekkie."  Been a fan of the show since I was a little guy.   I've loved all incarnations----"Star Trek: Next Generation," "Star Trek: Deep Space Nine," "Star Trek: Voyager," and "Star Trek: Enterprise."  And I've loved each and every one of the movies and can't wait for the new Star Trek movie out later this spring!  Should be a good one.  Well we all know that a Phaser is one of the "weapons" used on the series, and one guy wanted one really really bad.

William Shatner’s phaser weapon from Star Trek has been sold for an amazing $231,000.

The phaser was featured in Star Trek’s second pilot episode “Where No Man Has Gone Before.”

And, a very rich Trekkie decided price was no object and bought the thing for his toy collection.

Hope he knows it doesn’t actually shoot laser beams …
