NASA is trying to figure out how to create a human colony on Mars and the geniuses there figured out that a good first step is farming for food.

Unfortunately, they’re finding that growing food on Mars may be a bigger challenge than once thought.

The crops will be affected by the lower levels of gravity up there, as well as the fact that the surface of Mars gets roughly half the amount of sunlight Earth does.

So, if you think being a space pioneer would be cool, you might want to exercise your green thumb starting now. (Fox News)
