Watford Fatalities Prompt DOT Debate

It had to happen.  A car slid into the path of a semi and two teenage boys were killed near Watford City.  The mayor is pointing his finger at the state Department of Transportation for not doing more sooner to shore up the roads in the wake of the oil boom.

Is the mayor being fair about this?  Does he have a point?  How fast can we realistically expect the roadwork to happen?
