••JFK Film Festival is on FRIDAY 7pm, At the North Dakota Heritage Center at the Capitol. This week’s JFK-Related film is the classic “Dr. Strangelove.” FREE!!!
••The Haunted Fort at Fort Abraham Lincoln State Park Opens up FRIDAY & SATURDAY night at 730pm and stays open until 11pm!! Special Sunday afternoon “Haunted Fort Kids Bash” from 1230-4pm $5 per child, parents are free!! 7 miles south of Mandan on Highway 1806. Bigger and scarier than ever! Tickets $12, VIP passes $32.
••”Proof” one of Broadway’s most highly awarded plays hits the stage at Bismarck State College. It’s the story of Catherine—the daughter and caregiver of her late father Robert—a college professor and mathematical genius. Performances FRI & SAT at 730pm and SUN at 2pm. Performances at the Sidney J. Lee Auditorium 1500 Edward Avenue.
••Fall Bazaar & Rummage Sale is on SAT from 9-3 at the McCabe United Methodist Church. Books, crafts, fair trade coffee, a big bake sale, plus an auction and pulled pork lunch. 1030 North 6th Street in Bismarck.
••Bismarck-Mandan Symphony Orchestra presents “The Importance Of Home” SAT night at 730 at the Belle. Music from Aaron Copeland and more will be presented. The Belle is at 201-North 6th Street.
••United Way Annual Pancake Breakfast is set for SUN from 9am-1pm at St. Mary’s School Cafeteria. This events offers up great food and is a fund raiser for the United Way. 1025 North 2nd Street in Bismack. Free will donation. Families are welcome!!
••Eagles Club Pancake Breakfast is on SUN morning from 9am til 1pm at the Bismarck Eagles Club, 313 North 26th Street. Pancakes, eggs, sausage, juice, milk & coffee will be served. $6 for adults, $3 for kids. Everyone is welcome!
••Peter Fletcher Classical Concert is on SAT at 330pm at the Bismarck Public Library. Bach, Greig and more music will be featured. This young man has been playing instruments since the age of 7. And does over 100 concerts a year and has released 6 cd’s. FREE and open to the public. Library is at 515 North 5th downtown.
••”Rain”—A Tribute To The Beatles Concert is on MON 730pm at the Bismarck Civic Center. These guys are truly amazing—you’ll swear you’re seeing John, Paul, George & Ringo. Tickets $30, $40 and $55.
••Learn To Curl Classes---are on MONDAY at 7pm at the VFW Sports Center. No experience is necessary. Classes last 2 hours—wear comfortable clothes and tennis shoes. 1200 North Washington. FREE!!!
••Halloween At The Vintage Shoppe at Buckstop Junction is on SAT from 12noon-4pm. The “Miles of Smiles Clown” are taking over the Vintage Shoppe on Saturday. For the kids free face painting and free balloon animals, along with treats and fun galore. Halloween & Fall Decorations will be offered on sale at 20% off. It’s right off the East Bismarck Expressway.
••BisMarket Farmers Market is open SAT from 9am-1pm at Bismarck’s Sertoma Park, near Shelter 5. Use the entrance by the Amusement Park. Locally grown farm-fresh products, this is a great health choice. FREE admission!!
••Mandan Farmers Market is open SAT starting at 8am at Heritage Park on Main Street. Open til everything sells out. Also open TUES at 10am, and SAT thru October 29th.

••Come & See The Animals! The Dakota Zoo now has their fall hours and is open FRI-SAT & SUN from 1-5pm weather permitting. $7 for adults, $4 for children.
••Papa’s Pumpkin Patch is now open and continues thru October 19th. It’s north of Bismarck along the Missouri River, at 5001 Fernwood Drive. Lots of free activities, plus a bale maze, corn maze, train rides, zip lines, hayrides plus the pumpkin cannon and FUN! Open on Monday and then on Thursdays from 5-7pm and on Weekends from 12noon-5pm
••Capital Farmers Market is open Friday starting at 3pm, and is open all day Saturday in the K-Mart Parking Lot starting at 8am.
