••Family Fun At The Mandan Corn Maze is open FRI & SAT nights from 7-10pm and Sundays from 1-4pm.  1¼ miles south of Mandan on Highway 1806.  $9 for adults ages 7-12 $7 and under 6 in free!  Bring a Flashlight.  

 

••Come & See The Animals!  The Dakota Zoo has their “Zoo Boo Celebration” on SAT from 1-5pm.  Kids can trick-or-treat from more than 30 area businesses and visit their favorite zoo critters.  $3 for kids and $1 for adults.  This is great family fun!

 

••The Haunted Fort is open at Ft. Abraham Lincoln State Park, 7 miles south of Mandan on Highway 1806.  Open from 730-1130pm.  FRI & SAT nights Plus Sunday aftenoon at 2pm---great for little kids.   And open Mon-Tue & Halloween 730-1130pm  3 different haunted mansions and scary fun for everyone!   $12. 

 

••Halloween Kids Bash is on SUNDAYS at 1pm at Ft. Abraham Lincoln State Park.  It’s fun, food, dancing and the haunted mansion for kids.  It’s on from 1-5pm.  $5 per child.   It’s on this and next and the following Sunday afternoon.

 

••Haunted House & Carnival at Prairie Elementary School in Bismarck, is on SAT from 430-8pm.  FREE admission with 25 cent tickets available to purchase food and play games.  General auction and a silent auction as well.  This is an event especially for elementary age kids.   Wear your costume and join in the fun!!

 

••Fall Fish Fry to Support Youth Ministry is on FRI from 5-7pm at Corpus Christi Church in Bismarck.  Baked & Fried Fish, noodles, French fries, hushpuppies, and homemade desserts.  Walleye available.    $8 for adults, $4 for children or $25 per family.   The church is at 1919 North 2nd Street.

 

••Visit the Halloween “Stage Fright” Haunted House at Bismarck State College FRI & SAT nights from 6-11pm.  It’s a chance to go on-stage, backstage and all around the Sidney J. Lee Auditorium for horrid encounters.  Activities for young children as well!  $5 at the door. 

 

••Kids All City Halloween Party for pre-school thru 6th grade is on Friday from 6-8pm.  Carnival booths, treats and prizes.  Just $1 per child, Adults are FREE.  It’s on at the World War Memorial Building 215 North Sixth Street downtown Bismarck. 

 

••Come Check Out The Driscoll Haunted House!  It’s on Friday & Saturday night from 7-11pm in Driscoll.  It’s in a house built during the great depression, filled with many spooks and screams.  The yard and street will also be haunted.  Proceeds go to the Driscoll Betterment Club.   Driscoll is 35 miles east of Bismarck, right off I-94 exit 190.

 

••The Fun Musical “You’re A Good Man Charlie Brown” is on stage at Shiloh Christian School is Bismarck.  This is great for the whole family.  The “Peanuts Gang” will all be there—Charlie Brown, Lucky, Linus, Sally and Snoopy—and they will make you laugh!!   Performances FRI & SAT at 7pm and SUN at 2pm  Tickets are $8 for adults and $6 for students. 

••Bismarck & Century High School present the musical “42nd Street” FRI & SAT at 7pm and SUN at 2pm at the Century High Auditorium.   Adult tickets are $8, Sr. Citizens and Students are $5. 

••The Monster Music Mash is on FRIDAY Night from 8-11pm.  Features live music with local musicians, food costumes and fun.  It’s on at the Bismarck Downtown Artists Co-Op at 222 North 4th Street and it is FREE!!!

••Mandan High’s Production of “While The Lights Were Out” is on stage FRI & SAT nights at 730pm, and SUN at 2pm, performances are on at the Mandan High School Auditorium.  $7 for adults, and $4 for senior citizens and students.

••The Artober Halloween Fest is BACK this SATURDAY morning from 9am-12Noon.  It’s for kids ages 2-10 and costumes are welcome.  It’s all about kids…they will paint masks, fabulous face painting, create scary monster magnets, get pics takes and create a Halloween card and more.   $5 at the door and $1 per activity.  It’s on at the Theo Art School, 1810 Schafer Street in Bismarck.

 

••Arts And Crafts Galore in Washburn on Saturday from 10am-3pm.  Lots of great items for sale and the Washburn Methodist Church Women will be serving soup, sandwiches and more from 11-130.    There will be all sorts of items for sale.  FREE admission.

 

••Haunting Arts & Spooktacular Science is on SAT from 1230-430pm at High Prairie Arts & Science Complex.  Halloween art, Ghoulish Treats and Spooky Entertainment highlight this family event.  Make sure you wear your costume!   Frances Leach High Prairie Arts & Science Complex is at 1810 Schafer Street in Bismarck.

 

••Hungry?  How About the Eagles Pancake Breakfast on SUN from 9am-1pm.  Enjoy all you can eat pancakes, eggs, sausage, juice, milk and coffee.  $6 for adults and kids under 10 in free.  “The Balloon Critter” will be there from 10am-12noon, and Halloween bags will be given to kids under the age of 10.  This is another great family activity.  The Eagles Club is at 313 North 26th Street in Bismarck.

 

••University Of Mary’s Annual Fall Band FREE Concert is on SUNDAY at 3pm, in the Our Lady Of The Annunciation Chapel.  Music from “Lord Of The Rings,” and the “Children’s March”  Plus Henry Mancini’s “Pie In The Face Polka.”   This is a FREE concert and everyone is invited!

 

••St Mary’s Parish Fall Dinner is on SUNDAY from 4-630pm at the church, 800 East Broadway Avenue.   Turkey, Mashed Potatoes, dressing, gravy, green bean casserole, dinner roles, pumpkin and apple pies and angel food cake.  $8 for adults, kids 4-12 $3.50.  Silent Auction and Bake Sale.

This film is an adaptation of David Mitchell's popular novel Cloud Atlas.
