Weekend Fun For Bismarck-Mandan!
Of course March Madness is alive and kicking BIG TIME, but for the first weekend of Spring, here's what's happening in our fair city!

••BISMARCK BOBCATS HOCKEY At Austin FRI & SAT nights. Home games start at 715 at the VFW Center.
EVENTS AROUND TOWN:
••Bismarck Figure Skating Club Ice Show. Is on FRI & SAT night from 7-9 AND SUN at 2pm at the VFW All Seasons Sports Arena. This annual ice show features individual skaters as well as the Capital Ice Chips and Midwestern Section Champions. $10 for adults, seniors and student $8. Kids 4 & under in free!
••Tennessee Williams Classic play “Cat On A Hot Tin Roof” Hits the stage at Dakota Stage. Performances are on 730pm WED-THU-FRI & SAT, and matinees at 2pm on0 SUN thru the 30th. Tickets $22. 412 East Main Avenue downtown.
••Bismarck Aircraft Modelers Annual Show is on at Kirkwood Mall The annual radio-controlled airplane event is on all day SATURDAY starting at 12noon. You will be able to try out one of their flight simulators. FREE!!!
••Benefit Pancake Breakfast for Bismarck-Mandan Quota International is on SATURDAY 8-10am It will be on at Applebee’s North and it benefits disadvantaged women and children. Great Cause. $5 at the door.
••Annual Women’s “Joy Breakfast” is on SAT at the Ramkota from 930-1130am. An inspiring speaker, fun and fellowship. Tickets $16. Ramkota is at 800 South 3rd. All women are welcome!!
••Pancake & Sausage Breakfast is on SUN. From 9am-1pm at First Presbyterian at 3rd and Thayer. Pancakes, eggs, sausage, juice, milk & coffee will be served. $6 for adults and $4 for kids 10 and under. It’s a benefit for Boy Scout Troop 6. Bring a non-perishable donation for the local food banks.
••Veggie Tales Family Movie Event is on SUN from 445-6pm at McCabe United Methodist Church, 1030 North 6th Street. They’ll be featuring “Veggie Tales In Space” Free balloons, popcorn, and beverages. Pizza for just $1 a slice. Everyone is welcome.
••Family Story Time is on MONDAY Night from 630-7pm at the Bismarck Public Library. It’s an evening of storytelling sessions for the whole family. 515 North 5th Street. FREE!!
••Come & See The Animals! The Dakota Zoo now has their winter hours and is open FRI-SAT & SUN from 1-5pm weather permitting. $7 for adults, $4 for children.
