••Come & See The Animals!  The Dakota Zoo is open on FRI-SAT and SUN from 1-5pm. 

 

••Holiday Open House is on at the Former Governor’s Mansion”  On Sunday from 1-5pm Come see this beautifully decorated home at 320 East Avenue B downtown.  Free coffee, cookies and hot cider will be served, plus live Christmas music. 

 

••4th Annual Dickens Festival is on in Garrison!   Is open and continues through December 8th.  This town of 1500 people gets transformed into a Victorian down of the mid 1800’s.  It’s like the Charles Dicken’s era.   There are street vendors, the Queen Elizabus, a lighted parade, fruitcake toss, English tea, craft show, a toy and collector’s show and you can enjoy a live presentation of Charles Dickens’ “A Christmas Carol.”  Events are on every FRI SAT & SUN through December 8th.  Garrison is between Bismarck and Minot, right off Highway 83.

 

••Pride Of Dakota Holiday Showcase is on this weekend at the Bismarck Civic Center.  Over 250 Pride of Dakota merchants and small businesses will be there showing off their wares.   FRI 4-9pm SAT 9-5 SUN 11-4.  Admission is $2, bring  your own reusable bag and it’s just a buck. 

 

••Christmas In The Park is on FRI-SAT-SUN and MON from 6pm-10pm at Sertoma Park.  This is a great family activity and a wonderful drive-through the entire family will enjoy.   Just $5 per vehicle.

 

••Spaghetti Dinner Fundraiser is on FRI from 5-8pm at Bismarck High.  Student musicians perform hourly.  It’s a benefit to raise money for a trip to New York.   Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for kids 12 and under.

 

••Let’s Dance Studio presents “A Christmas Spectacular”  FRI night at 7pm and SAT at 1pm at the Belle downtown.  This performance will definitely get you into the Christmas spirit.  $15/$20.

 

••High Tea & Merriment is on SAT at 3pm at the Trinity Community Center at 502-North 4th in Bismarck.  $25 per person.

 

••Benefit Spaghetti Dinner & Silent Auction for Darla Schriock is on SAT from 430-7pm at the Faith Lutheran Church in Bismarck.  Live music and more.  This benefit is for a 1st grade teacher.  Who has a massive brain tumor.  This is a benefit to help pay for the expensive surgery to have it removed.  Faith Lutheran Church is at 1402 East Avenue C in Bismarck.

 

••Knights of Columbus has a benefit breakfast SUN from 845-1130am for the Christ the King School.  Scrambled eggs, sausage, hashbrowns, pancakes, fruit, juice and coffee will be served.  Christ the Kind of at 505 10th Avenue Northwest in Mandan and everyone is welcome!
