••United Tribes 43rd Annual International Powwow
The annual event features “champion” dancers and drums from all over the U.S. & Canada competing for top honors. Over 70 tribes and 1500 dancers compete. Big Parade of champions Sat at 930 at the State Capitol grounds. Grand Entries Fri 1 & 7pm, Sat 130 & 7pm and Sun at 12noon. ••Central Dakota Humane Society’s “Shaggy Shuffle” is on THIS SUNDAY from 11am-3pm at Raging Rivers. It’s a fun day for you, the kids and your dogs. ••Apple Dash Run-Walk For Education is coming up SUNDAY at Hughes Field. Events beginning at 2:00 pm. The ½ mile will be at 2:00, 1 mile at 2:15 and the 5k run/walk at 2:30 pm. The ½ mile and 1 mile will take place on Hughes fields and the 5 K will utilize the Tom O’Leary trail.
