Weekend Temperatures HOT-HOT-HOT

Summer still has it's reign on North Dakota. July was 3-5 degrees cooler than normal. Area farmers are in need of moisture and many row crops are feeling the effects of the drier than normal July.

This weekend in North Dakota, the area will experience warmer than average temperatures through out the region. Friday, expect the lower 90's as highs and on Saturday, the area could experience mid to high 90's.

This means that you should the necessary precautions if working or playing outside. Stay hydrated, take breaks in the shade or air conditioning, make sure you check on the elderly and don't forget about your pets. Make sure "Fido" has plenty of fresh water and shade to rest.
